Welcome to my Hypnotherapy Practice

Hypnotherapy is a powerful and effective way to make changes to your thoughts, your behaviours and ultimately your life.

I have had many years of experience both as a hypnotherapist and a doctor and I believe you will get the results you want by my focusing on you as the unique individual that you are. I therefore tailor make each session to you and your individual needs. After our first session together I will make you a personal audio file and suggest you listen to it in between sessions, to consolidate the positive effects.

I am keen to fully understand what you are not happy with in this moment and then use this to change your focus to success and what this would really look like for you in the future.Too many people get stuck in thought patterns of what they don't want and my aim is to change your focus to what you do want and help you achieve these goals.

Hypnotherapy is about us working together, you provide the willingness for change and I will gently guide your subconscious mind to let go of the thoughts that are hindering you and adopt new supportive ones.This can bring health, well being and success to all aspects of your life.

There is no hypnosis in this session but I think it is really important that you have an opportunity to meet me before you decide to proceed with hypnotherapy. You can tell me all about yourself and the issue you would like to work on. I can then explain how hypnotherapy could specifically help you. It is most important that you feel comfortable with your decision so I am very happy for you to go away and think over our meeting before you make a decision. However, you might decide you want to book up straight away, so we can then timetable your first session and I would email you a short audio file to listen to at home. This starts the process of associating my voice with relaxation and means you can get the most out of the therapy sessions right from the very beginning.


Hypnosis is a very natural state. We go into it by ourselves many times a day if we are daydreaming or performing a behaviour that is ingrained in our subconscious minds and doesn't require the input of conscious thinking. Have you ever driven safely along a really familiar road but realise you have no actual recollection of the drive. Then you were in trance and allowing your unconscious mind to take over. During a hypnotherapy session I will help you relax and go into trance simply by listening to my voice.

People usually describe being in trance as a very relaxing experience. They enjoy the feeling of deep relaxation and letting go but still feel they can be in control if they need to be. Once you are in trance then the therapy part of the session can take place .You can make the changes you want in your unconscious mind, the part that is driving the unwanted thoughts and behaviours.

Once you are in a hypnotic state the therapy part of the session begins. I will tailor the session to your particular issue and needs and have many different techniques to call upon. These gently guide your unconscious mind let go of the thought patterns that are hindering you and replace them instead with supportive and encouraging ways of thinking. Once your thoughts and perspective change, then so do your behaviours and then so does your experience of life .
